In just under 3 weeks, our new two green houses in our test farm are completed. With the strong support of an experienced project manager and with the man power of some staff, in no time we were able to construct two wonderful green houses and worked on the first planting.

With a budget of about 3,000 Euro, we were able to completely construct these green houses. 2 Trees, polythene foils, roofing bars, dripping system, modification of our irrigation system, an additional tank, special clothing for our staff, Hygiene measures at the entrance of the green houses and a lot of work was necessary in order to achieve our goals.Both green houses (8 x 22 Metres) and (8 x 22 Metres) offer a space for aprox. 1800 plants.

We expect the first harvest in about 2.5 months.The harvest will continue for the next 6 months and can be harvested two times per week. According to the business plan, the investment pays off after 5 months.We have a wonderful business! Even a small green house can be able to feed, pay school fees and much more for a small scale farmer’s family.
