Ministry of Agriculture visits us at our test farm.With the help of the Chief of Jua Kali, we got a visit from the Ministry of Agriculture in Kenya. The initial reason was a problem with our vegetable farm. The results were bad and we did not have the experience to be able to know what went wrong.

During this visit by the people from the Ministry of Agriculture, we found out that bad seedlings could have been the reason for the bad quality.Much more interesting was the fact that the people from the Ministry were nevertheless impressed by our work. They had heard about Push and Pull, but this is not applied in our region.

In our long talk and in an inspection of the farm these people proposed to help us. First, they wanted to create a farm business plan for us and assist us with their experience in its implementation. In return, in the spring of 2011, they would like to organize an event at our farm to show the farmers in our locality what is possible here in the area.Of course, we found it perfect and we agreed.
