Our Conclusion on Push and Pull Maize Growing
Maize growing using Push and pull method for the African small scale farmers is an absolute convincing solution. Less initial costs, higher harvest, less chemicals.
We are optimistic that our neighbours will copy from us next year. And the neighbours of our neighbours will do the same in the year after next year. It is our hope that in 5 years, this concept will spread over East Africa and thus improve and stabilize the harvests.
The Push and Pull method is relatively easy to apply using the already available instructions on the internet. Because the Kenyan small scale farmers still have no access to internet, we need to offer them guidance on this. It is our concern that this concept spreads fast.
